Tami Capperauld is a globally recognized Target Costing (Affordability) subject matter expert and highly sought after facilitator, speaker and instructor at cost and performance management symposiums around the world.
Her field of experience ranges from aerospace to healthcare. Tami joined the Regence Blue Cross Blue Shield marketing team in September 2009 where she developed and socialized a market driven target pricing and lifecycle cost management methodology for health insurance, disease management and wellness program product development. Prior to Regence, Tami was a member of The Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Finance Team for 20 years. She has both led and participated in implementing Market Driven Target Costing on several major airplane programs and is the BCA Subject Matter Expert on Affordability for the Boeing Enterprise.
Tami is the 2008 / 2009 Industry Chair of The Consortium for Advanced Management – International (CAM-I) and has been the Chair of the CAM-I Target Costing Best Practice Interest Group since 2001. She has made numerous presentations in the United States, Canada, Japan, Russia and United Kingdom and is sought after by industry to speak and conduct workshops on Target Costing.
Tami is the December 2002 recipient of the prestigious Robert A. Bonsack Award. This award, given annually by CAM-I, is for “Distinguished Contribution in the Advancement of Cost Management.”
Prior to Boeing, Tami implemented satellite operations for international trade finance services on behalf of a major financial institution.
